I am the Career Counselor and the Drug Prevention Specialist at Central Academy. This is my sixth year with the district. Prior to Central Academy, I worked at Meridian Academy and Centennial High School.
I have a Masters Degree in
school counseling from Boise State University. I am also licensed as a
professional counselor by the State of Idaho.
As a Career Counselor, I help students make career and educational choices. I help students in a multitude of ways to include: scholarship searches, financial aid, college selection, interest inventories, internships, job preparation, preparing a resume and career exploration.
As a Drug Prevention Specialist, I interact with students and assist them in making positive changes in their lives. I run several support groups to help them gain confidence, and formulate goals.
