About Me:

Bio: I am in my sixth year at Central Academy and love the family atmosphere we have here. I am a mother of a son (London) and a daughter (Jade). I have taught in Thailand and have built orphanages in Cambodia. I love to travel and would love to have my students join me in seeing the world.

I just finished my Masters to begin a path in administration. My future plans include beginning an alternative charter school, where students can receive an alternative education with a focus of a hands-on curriculum. But...to be honest, I am not sure I could ever leave the teaching profession. I love what I do and live for helping students learn and succeed.

Mission / Beliefs:

I believe all students can learn.  My goal

as a teacher is to eliminate the barriers

that come between my students and their

ability to learn.

Vision:

My vision (passion) is to be a person in my students’ lives that taught them to overcome adversity and think for themselves. I want to help my students realize how they can use their struggles as a springboard to make a difference in the life of someone else.
