My goal is to see each person as an individual, for who they are and what they can be, and to offer them support or assistance in any way I can in the achievement of their personal happiness in life. That brings me happiness!
This is my 6th year teaching at an Academy.
I’ve taught for a total of 10 years, including 2 years
in Jr. High in Boise and 3 in High School in San
Mateo, California. Prior to that, I worked in a
variety of positions in the business world.
I have my Masters in Vocational Education from
the University of Idaho, a Masters in School Counseling,
a Masters in Marriage & Family Counseling and
I’m credentialed in Secondary Family and Consumer
Science and Health.
I teach classes in Foods and Nutrition, Culinary I
and II, and Adult Living I and II.
When the opportunity arises I love to hike, cook, shop with
my daughter, and read. I try to get away a couple
times a year to someplace relaxing….
My favorite song: What A Wonderful World
by Louis Armstrong
Favorite Place: In the coastal woods of Oregon
where there are lots of pine
trees, greenery, and running
water!
Favorite Car: Mini Cooper (If I ever had a
chance I’d get a red one!)
Mission Statement
My personal mission is to stay open and flexible
so that I can see what’s needed of me. If I can be
available, not caught up in all the day to day
stressors, then I believe I’ll be given opportunities
to serve; to give back to life. All of us want
happiness and love; to feel included and a part
of life.
My goal is to help students feel included and find
their happiness.
