I worked at Meridian Academy for 15 years and transferred to Central Academy when it opened this fall. I love working with the students and the staff and enjoy seeing students succeed and graduate. I admire the staff and their ability to challenge and get the most out of the students.
I have been married for thirty-three
years and have been in the area for the
same amount of time. My husband and I have raised two boys, one is with the
Canyon County Sherriff’s office. He and his wife have 3 children whom I love to
spoil and do so every chance I get. Our other son and his wife live in
Fairbanks, Alaska and he teaches Economics at the University of Alaska,
Fairbanks. They are the proud “parents” of a huge white golden
retriever/great Pyrenees who is our “Granddogger.”
I
have been an Awana leader at my church for 25 years where I work with 3rd
– 6th grade girls. I was named employee of the year for 1998-1999 by
the Ada County Association of Office Professionals. My hobbies include:
decorative painting, sewing, gardening, camping, knitting, crocheting,
embroidery, and all kinds of crafts. I am also a collector of bears (I quit
counting when I reached 100). My husband and I are looking forward to the day
we can take our fifth wheel and travel all over the United States.
