Central Academy is a public, alternative high school for grades 9 - 12 in a growing suburban area of Southwest Idaho.  It opened in the Fall of 2005, due to an increasing number of students wanting to enroll at the two other academy's in the district.  The enrollment is capped at 150 students to preserve the small school atmosphere.  Classes are designed to accommodate 20 students with an average of 12 to 15 students per class.
